Kenoza Lake

Today we walked around Kenoza Lake with my Mom (Rita), Dad (Ron), sister (Heidi), Bill's Mom (Cheryl), Ellen, and Jeannie.  It was a nice walk and a good day after our hike yesterday.  My legs are a little sore today.  We will be hiking Kenoza Lake a lot this summer when we can't get to the White Mountains.

Welch and Dickey

We got our permit for the Grand Canyon and are hiking our second choice dates September 25-28.  The trip and flights are booked!! Serious training starts now!  Today we hiked Welch and Dickey.  It was a nice easy hike with only one steep section for a little bit.  The hike has so much open rock and ridge walking and there are beautiful views like below for much of the hike.
